I found getting into the bios and getting it to select the boot drive a challenge but this set of instructions helped a lot. I than updated this version of windows 8 pro to the download version of window 8 pro that I purchased from Microsoft and then applied the Free Media center key so that I can watch TV program from my main Media center computer. (I guess I also could have try the orginals 8 recovery but I already had the win8 trial available. The upgrade would not install on a blank drive so I download a version of windows 8 pro that would run in a 30 day trial and install without a key(Google it). (Before removing the old drive I ran the Windows 8 upgrade program in Windows 7 compatibility mode in order for it to give me the $39.99 windows 8 pro upgrade. I pulled the plasitic tab with the two foam strips off the HDD and used them on the SSD. Once this was done I put in a crucial M4 that I had to remove the space from and shorten the screws to make 7mm. Not a great picture but you will get the ideal. I had to use way more force than I was comfortable with in order to snap this open. There are 5 or six of these snaps along the back. I then took a flat headed screw driver and slid it along the opening until it encounter a plastic snap and twisted it sides to pop the snap. I pushed the scraper in gently to open it up. In order to open the case I took a plastic paint scraper about 1 inch wide and in back between the hinge I pulled the bottom enough that you can see the bottom just starting to come away. Ok I finally replaced the HDD with an SSD.
